-------------------------
This fun app introduces kids (and adults too!) to some of the greatest paintings in the history of art. The puzzles are created by scrambling paintings into slices. To solve the puzzle simply drag and drop the slices into the right order.

Trying to solve the puzzles makes kids focus on the paintings with a degree of concentration and detail that a casual glance at a book or even museum cannot achieve. This helps shape not only their general knowledge of art, but also their aesthetic sensibilities long before then can learn the names of the artists and paintings. They will learn to see the world through the eyes of these great masters while they discover the diversity of styles and techniques used in painting.

This app includes images of 23 of the greatest paintings by artists such as Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Goya, Gauguin, Cezanne, Seurat, Monet, Pissarro, da Vinci, Rousseau, Velazquez among others.

15 difficulty levels (from 5 slices to 20) means fun for kids from older toddlers to teenagers and even adults.

Don’t know the painting? Tap the puzzle once and press the show painting button to take a peak.

Pros and cons of Kid’s art puzzle: sliding slices! app for iPhone and iPad

Kid’s art puzzle: sliding slices! app good for

My six year old loves art and she loves doing the puzzles. She tries to improve her times and learns about the paintings. Great app!
I bought this for my oldest son (6) who loves playing with my iPhone. He got into the puzzles really quickly and started asking about the paintings and the artists. He started with 10 slices and now is trying harder settings. This app is wonderful: educational, fun and great for kids.
My 5 year old loves it. She is hooked and while she plays, she learns. She began asking about the paintings, the styles, the artists. Its a must if your kid loves art!
